Jennifer Skotniczny - Instructor/Choreographer

Jennifer has been dancing for over 20 years. Since a young age Jennifer has known she wanted to share her love of dance with others. At age 11 she began as an Instructors Assistant where she worked with children ages 2-9 demonstrating steps and learning how to prepare for and run a class. Throughout her high school career she was selected through an audition process to take part in the Performing Arts program offered by her school. Two hours of each school day was dedicated to Dance, either in a classroom learning dance history, traveling to Boston to take master classes or practicing in the school dance studio for upcoming projects or performances. At 17 she took on her own classes at the studio she grew up in teaching tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop and video jazz. Jennifer started teaching competitive hip hop and video jazz routines at the age of 18. In 2002 she had the opportunity to travel to Myrtle Beach, SC to support one of her teams as they competed at the Star Systems National Finals where they won a High Gold Medal! Being a competitive dancer herself she has won numerous medals and awards for excellence in modern, tap, hip hop and jazz. Jennifer has also had the pleasure of teaching at local childhood fairs and preschools. In addition to teaching dance, Jennifer has also been fortunate enough to have worked at a local preschool for 3 years, where she learned many different teaching methods that she now applies to her Preschool and Kindergarten aged Dance Classes. Jennifer has also been a participant in the annual Hingham Cabaret which is put on every January by the Hingham Community Center.

Cara Cullen – Instructor/Choreographer

Cara has been dancing for over 15 years and teaching for almost 10 years. As a teenager she was awarded numerous medals for excellence as a competitive Hip Hop dancer. In 2002 Cara traveled to South Carolina to compete in the Star Systems National Talent Competition where she was awarded a High Gold Medal. Throughout her college years she minored in dance where she expanded her knowledge of Ballet, Jazz and Modern dance. She also performed in many Performing Arts Showcases for her college. Cara is always looking for new experiences and new classes she can attend to broaden her knowledge of dance.

Kim Patrizi - Instructor/Choreographer

Kim has been dancing for over 15 years and has been teaching for over 8 years. As a dancer she has won numerous awards while being on dance teams performing in different styles of dance. In 2002 Kim traveled to South Carolina to compete in the Star Systems National Talent Competition where she was awarded a High Gold Medal. Kim was also a member of The Phunk Phenomenon dance group specializing in hip-hop & jazz. She performed for numerous charity events along with The Special Olympics Opening Ceremony and the half time shows for our own Boston Celtics. Kim has worked with children for most of her teen & adult years, being a full time nanny and previously working for different child care centers. As an instructor at Expressions Dance Center, Kim teaches Jazz, Broadway Musical Theater, and Contemporary Jazz. Kim is very enthusiastic and loves working in the dance field.

Alyssa Jaynes - Instructor/Choreographer

Alyssa has been dancing since the age of 3 and has extensive training in Jazz, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet and Pointe. She has danced competitively since the age of 7, competing both regionally and nationally and has received numerous platinum awards and special recognition for her technique. She holds a B.S. from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida in Hospitality Managngement with a specialization in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Throughout her schooling she continued to dance taking classes at local studios and gyms. This will be Alyssa's first year teaching at Expressions Dance Center and she could not be more excited to start a great year!
